Founder and CEO of Blue Origin Jeff Bezos announced a space exploration mission agreement with a rocket manufacturer, United Launch Alliance (ULA) on Thursday (27/9).
Blue Origin is called ULA to provide a driving machine for their latest generation rocket, Centaur Vulcan. This mission is scheduled to expand in 2020.
ULA itself is a compliance company between Lockheed Martin and Boeing. The company was formed in December 2006 which focused on providing space shuttle services to the US government.
"Vulcan Centaur will revolutionize spacecraft at affordable prices and reliable access to space missions for our partners today and later," said ULA CEO Tory Bruno in an official statement compiled by AFP.
Bruno said he was happy to be able to take part in a project involving Blue Origin. Questioning the development of rocket readiness, bruno said the current design of the latest rocket was almost complete.
He said the rocket would later be designed to be able to carry cargo from orbit around the Earth.
So far ULA is a service provider for the launch of the national security mission for the US government. Bob Smith, ULA's chief executive claimed to be challenged by the cooperation agreed with Blue Origin.
The company owned by Jeff Bezos is known to be drafting a plan to develop a spacecraft that can be used to send muata to the moon. It is probable that the content referred to is also to support the plan to build a colony there.
